The base of the sahumito consists of:

• Cedar: A key ingredient in small smudge sticks. Works soothing, purifying, offers spiritual protection and connection.
• Eucalyptus: Works protectively on an energetic level, brings positive energy and promotes better spiritual balance.
• Bay laurel: Offers protection, promotes clarity and intuition, strengthens willpower, and brings spiritual strength and purification.

There are 5 different smudge sticks in the Smudge Sahumitos Flower Assortment:

1. Calendula (Marigold): Promotes creativity and represents passion.
2. White Sage: Known for spiritual cleansing during ceremonies. Offers high esoteric power and cleanses the environment or aura.
3. Rose: Flower of love, passion, romance and poetry. Symbolises (spiritual) growth and blossoming.
4. Citronella and Orange: Citronella: Has a protective effect and repels insects. Orange: improves your mood, brings joy of life and energy.
5. Yagra: Originally from India, from a type of primrose, with an intense citrusy scent. Represents abundance, prosperity and wealth.

"Sahumitos" refers to small bundles or preparations of dried herbs that are lit and left to smoulder, creating fragrant smoke. To perform a sahumito ceremony, the herb bundle is lit, allowed to catch fire and then the flames are blown out, causing the herbs to smoulder and produce smoke. The smoke is then spread through a space, over objects or around a person's body to cleanse and purify. Instructions for using Smudge Sahumitos Flower Assortment

1. Make sure you have a fireproof bowl or abalone shell and a small bag of sand. Light the end of the bundle and blow on it for a while so the flame goes out and the bundle continues to smoulder.
2. If the sahumito is tightly bundled, blow extra to get the herbs smouldering well.
3. After the session or ceremony, you can extinguish the bundle in a bowl of sand (make sure it is really out) and save the bundle for future use.
4. When the smudge smoke has subsided, let the remains cool completely before discarding them. Open the windows and ventilate well.
