Shamanic rattles

Shamanic rattles are the second instrument you often see used in rituals and ceremonies led by shamans. Like the drum, the sound has a trance effect on the brain through its gentle vibration. The handmade shamanic rattles are approximately 17 cm tall and sit comfortably in the hand with their wooden handle. The rattles are a mix of buffalo hide and cow hide, filled with small stones.
